Albert Wharrad Redditch Heritage

         Citation

This document is the notification Albert received to say that he was being sent home.
It is very faded and almost unreadable. However, the handwritten citation at the bottom
         says

“Cpl Wharrad employed as O/T.R.P. in charge of a section. Above average
intelligence. Keen & hardworking with good experience he has proved
himself capable and efficient. His good humour and pleasant manner has
gained him many friends. The Wkaps(?) are sorry to see him go.”
