Despite extensive development in the 1970s & 1980s well the “New Town” was being created, there are still many buildings and sites of historic significance in the borough today. These fall into two categories. Those recognised nationally which are listed to protect them, and those listed locally which recognises their importance but have no listing to protect them. This gallery identifies and describes these site.
