In 2014, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the designation of Redditch as a “New Town”, a group of local history enthusiast started a project to investigate and document the street of the town centre which were lost during the new town development. The project became known as the Lost Streets project.
This section of our historic galleries contains the findings of the project. This project is still active and these outputs from the investigations are still being developed.
